Ninja Red Riding Hood is an exciting fractured fairy tale full of action. Tired of being defeated by his prey, Wolf attends martial arts training to strengthen his abilities. He looks forward to returning to his hunt for food with his new ninja skills. When he encounters Little Red Riding Hood, he is confident that he will be able to trick her into being his next meal. But Wolf is caught by surprise when he discovers that Little Red Riding Hood has also been trained for the mastery of ninja skills. A martial arts match between Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood arises that will keep readers on the edge of their seats following along the action. Speech bubbles and the facial expressions of the characters make for amusing illustrations. This book would be great to pair with the familiar Little Red Riding Hood to practice comparing and contrasting the two stories.
